Shine a light on National Agenda targets

Shine a light on National Agenda targets

An innovative project is proving to be a bright beacon for Dubai’s private schools that is helping us achieve National Agenda targets.

What is it and how does it work?
We call it the Lighthouse Project.
Last year School leaders from across Dubai collaborated on research into successful education worldwide sharing their finding with others for the benefit of all schools in Dubai.
Each group had very different stories to tell, but one common theme:
To illuminate our successful voyage towards National Agenda targets
Let’s continue this amazing journey.

This year you’re invited to be part of a team that will inspire the students in Dubai to be happy and help us to meet our National Agenda Targets.
You’ll be introduced to 10 attributes that light the way to positive education and happier lives.
You’ll be part of a team and each team will be given one positive attribute. Your team’s role over the next few months is to carry out research that will help you design three different teaching and learning activities to promote the essence of your attribute in the classroom.
You and your team will be asked to present your research and activities to other principals at What Works End of academic year 2016/2017. Your research may also be published on the KHDA website and in a special report on Positive Education in Dubai

Be a Lighthouse Keeper and let knowledge sharing light the way.

Welcome to a brighter Lighthouse!
